Oh my gosh, the light. I love the way this works with the sunbeams in the forest, reflecting off the leaves and foliage to make it look like there are patches of gold dust scattered throughout. It speaks a lot of innocence and ephemeral beauty, and says that the most precious things in life are oftentimes the most simple and sweet of moments.
The painting technique is casual yet detailed, using blurry but precise lines and a washed-out border to perhaps indicate the glimmer of a long-lost memory.
Great work, just really great work.
What a rare sight, and a beautiful one at that! It would be lovely to see her family but maybe that's just an idea for another photo. This seems it could be a moment caught by an unsuspecting hiker and for finally reaching his desired destination, this sight is rewarded to him from the heavens.
Though for future tips, you should try to find a picture in which the texture matches that of the other pictures you plan to use. To me, the deer seems to be off texture to the gravel supporting the tree.
The tree formations give the sense of a concealed place, since the trees are blocking the majority of the sky. And I'd like to add the transition from the front of the picture to the background is a beautiful blend. But, In my opinion the black border throws off a sense off "natural".
Yet, the picture is still a great piece no matter.
