I just love Autumn. It's really my most favorite Season but of course, I really do love them all in their own special ways.
I made this image because I want to give back to that source that gives me reason to be thankful. I love my life and I cherish every breath!
ALL WORK IN MY GALLERY INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ART, PHOTOGRAPHY, JOURNAL/GALLERY SKIN DESIGNS & CODES, ICONS, AVATARS AND THE ID'S ARE---
What an autumny-feeling this artworks gives! I'd really like to comment on how well you chose the colors. The warm tones are perfect for autumn, AND they blend well. I also like the texture of this painting. The objects are also placed thoughtfully, the view isn't too blank or crowded. Well, I have to take off a few for originality, most autumn related works are centered around the theme of harvest and the holiday of Thanksgiving. It isn't new seeing a cornucopia surrounding by fruits, vegetables and leaves. I think you can improve your use of light, as well. Though the painting is supposed to be centered in light, it seems that way, and the darkness surrounds it, I think you could have improved the contrast in light. But, I have to say you did well in portraying the smoothness of the fruit! :3 It gives a really powerful impact, I mean, just by looking at the artwork above, I feel as though it's real. Still lifes were something I'd always done a good job on, yet seemed to have a problem with during my art classes, so I have to say, you did well!
